The Carson City Senior Center, located at 911 Beverly Drive, Carson City, Nevada, serves Carson City residents age 60 plus.

We are open Monday - Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. We have scheduled activities each day such as exercise, bunco, bingo, line dancing, lapidary, bridge, yoga and many others that seniors enjoy.

A hot, nutritious meal is served in the center's dining room every weekday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, for a donation of $2.25 for seniors (age 60 and over) and a fee of $6.00 for guests age 13-59, $2.25 for 12 and under.

Carson City Senior Citizen’s Center, Inc. (CCSCC), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, manages the Senior Center complex pursuant to a Memorandum of Understanding between CCSCC and The City of Carson City.

Management

  • Our Director, Courtney Warner, has been with the Carson City Senior Center since July 2015.
  • Our Governing Board are members of the non-profit corporation. Each member serves a three-year term beginning on October 1 of their initial year of service. The members' terms are staggered so that no more than two directors' terms end in one year.
  • Our Advisory Council works with, advises, and confers with the Director in all matters relating to the use of the complex, the delivery of nutrition, senior support services programs, and other senior services as may be offered by the complex.
