The Senior Center facility is open for lunch and activities that can adhere to the Governor's directives and the reopening plans of Carson City. Congregate Lunch is available Monday through Friday, 11:00am-12:30pm for dine-in and to-go. Meals on Wheels is operating as normal. Please call the Senior Center (775-883-0703) for current available services.

The Carson City Senior Center, located at 911 Beverly Drive, Carson City, Nevada, serves Carson City residents age 60 plus.

We are open Monday - Friday, 9am to 4pm. We have scheduled activities each day such as exercise, bunco, bingo, line dancing, lapidary, bridge, yoga and many others that seniors enjoy.

A hot, nutritious meal is served in the center's dining room every weekday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, for a donation of $2.25 for seniors (age 60 and over) and $6.00 for guests who are under age 60.

Carson City Senior Citizen’s Center, Inc. (CCSCC), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, manages the Senior Center complex pursuant to a Memorandum of Understanding between CCSCC and The City of Carson City.

To provide services, programs and resources to enhance the independence and autonomy of individuals 60+ through the facilitation and provision of a broad continuum of services and support including: nutrition, activities, information and referral, education, opportunity for peer interaction with concern for mental, emotional and physical well-being, and to foster and develop low cost senior housing.

Management

  • Our Governing Board consists of up to nine members who are the members of the non-profit corporation. Each member serves a three-year term beginning on October 1 of their initial year of service. The members' terms are staggered so that no more than two directors' terms end in one year. Click here for more information about our Governing Board.
  • Our Advisory Council works with, advises, and confers with the Executive Director in all matters relating to the use of the complex, the delivery of nutrition, senior support services programs, and other senior services as may be offered by the complex.
