SUPPORT GROUPS

AL ANON is a support group for family and friends of people suffering from alcoholism or substance abuse.  Like Alcoholics Anonymous, Al Anon follows the guidelines of a 12-step program and those who attend remain anonymous. For more information click HERE.

When: Tuesday and Thursday, 12:00pm - 1:00pm or Wednesday 6:30pm - 8:00pm.

 

CODEPENDENTS ANONYMOUS (CoDA) Co-Dependents Anonymous is a non-professional fellowship.  We offer no definition or diagnostic criteria for codependence.  What we do offer from our experience are characteristic attitudes and behaviors that describe what our codependent histories have been like.  We believe that recovery begins with an honest self-diagnosis.  For more information click HERE.

When: Thursdays 5:45 - 7:30pm

 

OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS (OA) is a community of people who support each other in-order-to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors. We welcome everyone who feels they have a problem with food.   For more information click HERE.

When: Fridays, 12:00pm - 1:00pm 

 

BLIND SUPPORT GROUP Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living hosts this support group for anyone experiencing vision loss. They discuss issues related to transportation, housing Social Security Disability Insurance and other things that enhance living with vision loss.   For more information click HERE.

When: First Friday each month from 11:00am to 2:00pm

 

SMILES FROM HEAVEN (formerly Tears and Rainbows) is a support group for those who have experienced a loss in their lives.  This group leads through the stages of grief and helps people to navigate through the hardest times in life.  If you need a little help, stop in, and meet the group.  All are welcome.

When: The Fourth Friday of each month, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

 

ALZHEIMER'S CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP is a life saver for many family members dealing with any stage of a loved one's dementia.  For more information click HERE.
