Annual variety show returns to the stage to benefit Meals on Wheels
CARSON CITY, Nev. — The Carson City Senior Center proudly announces the return of the annual community favorite with Carson Follies Presents: The Time Machine. The show takes audiences on a historical and futuristic journey through time. Local performers showcase songs, skits, and dance numbers from past decades and beyond.
This year’s volunteer-run production invites local audiences on a journey across the ages. The variety show features local singers, dancers, and comedic skits designed to entertain all ages while supporting homebound seniors in the community. It offers a fun community space for performers of all experience levels to share their talents.
Featuring the community favorite
All proceeds from The Time Machine directly benefit Meals on Wheels Carson City. The program delivers hot, nutritious daily meals and wellness checks to vulnerable and homebound seniors throughout the area, relying heavily on community fundraisers like the Follies to meet rising local needs.
Attendees can also purchase raffle tickets during intermission for a chance to win prizes, with all funds supporting the meal delivery service.
