A Conversation with Brad McMullen, Folklife Specialist
What does a Folklife Specialist do? Support the various communities and tradition bearers around the Silver State in their work to preserve and promote their cultural practices and artforms. Brad will talk about his job at the Nevada Arts Council and how it relates to one of the major traditional arts events in Nevada, the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering on Tuesday, June 17 at 12:30pm at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive, Joshua Tree Room (east end).
